The overlay is blank.
It hides itself when nothing is playing. Start a song on Spotify, then right-click the browser source in OBS and choose Refresh. If it's still blank, open the dashboard: if Spotify got disconnected there's a reconnect button.
Does it work with Streamlabs Desktop and XSplit?
Yes. Anything that can show a web page as a source works. The page background is transparent, so no chroma key is needed.
Do I need to update the URL when I change skins?
No. The overlay picks up dashboard changes within a couple of seconds. You only get a new URL if you regenerate it yourself.
Someone found my widget URL.
Regenerate it from the dashboard. The old link stops working immediately; paste the new one into OBS.
What about Apple Music, YouTube Music or local files?
Spotify only for now. Podcasts on Spotify are supported too.
